Terms of Service

1. Description of the Service

Match That Role is an AI-powered platform that analyzes resumes for ATS compatibility, suggests job role matches, and provides career improvement recommendations. The Service uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude) to process resume content and generate automated analysis results.

Analysis results are generated by AI and are indicative in nature. They do not constitute professional career advice, recruitment services, or employment guarantees. The Owner is not responsible for hiring decisions or employment outcomes based on the analysis results.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address, your name, and a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

3. Subscription Plans and Payments

The Service offers the following plans:

• Free: Limited access at no cost, including 1 resume analysis per 7 days and 3 matching job roles.
• Pro (EUR 9.99/month): Enhanced access, including 1 resume analysis per day and all matching job roles with job board links.
• Premium (EUR 19.99/month): Full access, including 1 resume analysis per hour and all available features.

Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring monthly payments. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

4. AI Processing of Resume Content

When you upload a resume for analysis, the text content of your resume is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI service via a secure API connection. The AI processes your resume to generate:

• A compatibility score across multiple metrics
• Specific improvement suggestions
• Job role recommendations with match percentages

Your resume content is processed in real-time for the purpose of generating your analysis. It is not stored by the AI provider and is not used to train AI models. For full details on how your data is handled, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

5. User Content and Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the content you upload to the Service, including your resumes and personal information. By using the Service, you grant the Owner a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

The Service, including its design, features, and analysis methodology, is the intellectual property of the Owner. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

6. Account Deletion

You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion:

• All your resume analyses, job matches, and account data will be permanently removed.
• Any active subscription will be cancelled immediately.
• This action cannot be undone.

Deletion is processed within 30 days of the request.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that infringes on third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Use automated tools to access the Service beyond the rate limits of your plan
• Resell or redistribute the Service or its outputs

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The Owner does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the AI-generated analysis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Service Modifications and Infrastructure

The Owner reserves the right to update, modify, or migrate the technical infrastructure of the Service at any time, while maintaining the same data protection standards and service quality. The Owner may also modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved amicably where possible. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Milan, Italy.
