1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Match That Role's services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
2. Service Description
Match That Role provides AI-powered resume analysis and optimization services. Our services include:
- Resume parsing and content analysis
- ATS compatibility assessment
- Keyword optimization recommendations
- Professional formatting guidance
- Achievement-focused content suggestions
Advisory Service: Our analysis provides guidance and recommendations. We do not guarantee job interviews, offers, or employment outcomes. Results depend on many factors beyond our control.
3. User Accounts
Account Creation
To use our services, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary to maintain its accuracy.
Account Security
You are responsible for:
- • Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- • All activities that occur under your account
- • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
Account Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use our services. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
4. Subscription and Payment
Pricing
We offer both free and paid subscription tiers. Pricing is displayed on our website and may change with notice. Current subscribers will be notified of price changes before renewal.
Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). Charges are processed through our payment provider, Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred.
Renewals
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your account settings.

5. User Content and Data
Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload, including resumes and related documents. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process it solely to provide our services.
Content Accuracy
You represent and warrant that all content you provide is accurate, truthful, and does not violate any third-party rights.
Data Usage
We may use anonymized, aggregated data from resumes to improve our AI models and services. This data cannot be traced back to individual users.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to:
✗ Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
✗ Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code
✗ Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
✗ Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
✗ Use automated systems to access the service (scraping, bots)
✗ Share your account credentials with others
✗ Use the service to compete with or undermine our business
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Match That Role, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and analysis algorithms, are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services or included software without our explicit written permission.
8. Disclaimers
No Employment Guarantees: Our service provides analysis and recommendations only. We do not guarantee job interviews, employment offers, or career outcomes.
AI Limitations: While our AI is sophisticated, it may not catch all issues or provide perfect recommendations. Human review is always recommended.
"As Is" Service: The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Service Availability: We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance may require brief service interruptions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Match That Role shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Employment decisions made by third parties based on your resume
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
By You
You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, you will lose access to paid features at the end of your current billing period.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity. We will provide notice when possible, but reserve the right to terminate immediately for serious violations.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will delete your data according to our Privacy Policy, typically within 30 days.
11. Changes to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes that affect paid subscribers.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
13. General Provisions
Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Match That Role.
Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them at any time.
